WEST Norfolk School Sport Partnership Primary Finals 2008.
Across the 94 Primary Schools in West Norfolk, pupils in Years 5 and 6 have been competing in "High 5" Netball Leagues and tournaments with their Cluster partner schools to be put forward as the Cluster representatives for the SSP play-offs.

Ten teams made it through to the finals held at Lynnsport to contest the overall title of West Norfolk School Sport Netball champions.

Following the round-robin stages, semi-final results were: South Wootton 3 Clenchwarton 2; Denver 6 Great Dunham 1.

The final between Denver and South Wootton was played with fantastic spirit and South Wootton edged ahead 5-3, to be crowned eventual winners.

In the qualifiers at Lynn-sport, after a nervous start, South Wootton went from strength to strength, outplaying teams from North Wootton, Whitefriars and Greyfriars to win a place in the finals.

Miss Bland, the netball coach, commented: "I'm really pleased with the children's performance.

"They passed the ball swiftly in attack and defended well as a team. They were a real credit to the school."
