Wymondham had improved, with several new players in their line up.
Ollie Ware was stopped short close to the line. From the penalty five metres out the ball was whipped along the line to Jack Windass, who went over in the corner for his first of his three tries. Conversion by K. Beales was good.
An injury to R. Charles also gave T. Bunting his opportunity at scrum half and he gave a solid performance in his first appearance for the season.

Lowestoft & Yar'th 5 Swaffham 56Swaffham made their way to the most easterly club in the British Isles hoping the weather was a bit better, but were sadly met by one of the wettest mornings of the year so far.
The forwards through Thompson and Potter, who controlled things well in contact, set up Johnson from five metres for his first try of the morning.
Swaffham's other tries: Sayer, Milligan conversion; and in the second half Johnson three more, Sayer, Mythen a brace and O'Brien two. Milligan landed two further conversions.

Swaffham 0 Southwold 12Swaffham were turned over on their home turf on Saturday.
Coastal rivals Southwold, who twice fell victim to Swaffham last season, arrived full of intent and overcame a gutsy Swaffham to go top of the league table.
An early score caught Swaffham out as tackles were missed around the fringes of a breakdown. Converted, 7-0.
Swaffham desperately sought points, and a good spell of possession ensued.
Inside centre Barnard made inroads into the Southwold defence, while outside him Taylor and Sparks also made ground. But as attack after attack was thwarted, the momentum swung back to Southwold.
A good move incorporating the entire Southwold back line saw them round the Swaffham defence for the second score. Not converted.
After half-time, Swaffham knew they had a good chance of regaining the lost ground.
Lines was brought on at full-back, as Sparks moved to scrum-half to replace the injured J. Palmer.
