There just wasn't a weak link in the home septet who took nine of the races with maximum 5-1 results.

It was the perfect result for the Roger Warnes Transport Stars ahead of Sunday's visit to Glasgow and the chance to pick up valuable away points.

Team manager Rob Lyon said: "We need to make sure we continue to pick up maximum points at home, but away is where you win leagues."

He was delighted with the form of his riders who made light of tricky track conditions in the early stages before reeling off six 5-1 results in the final seven races.

Tomas Topinka and Darcy Ward were both unbeaten by the opposition although Ward was struggling with a back injury and missed his fourth ride.

There was only one race where a Lynn rider failed to score – Chris Schramm falling on the second lap in Heat 3 when he was team riding at the front with Emiliano Sanchez.

Lynn Stars: Darcy Ward 8+1 (3 rides), Linus Eklof 6+1 (4 rides), Emiliano Sanchez 9+2 (4 rides), Chris Schramm 10+2 (5 rides), Tomas Topinka 14+1 (5 rides), Kozza Smith 8+2 (4 rides), Jan Graversen 11+2 (5 rides).

Rye House: Chris Neath 8 (5 rides), rider replacement for Robert Mear, Carl Wilkinson (guest) 8 (6 rides), Luke Bowen 3+1 (5 rides), Linus Sundstrom 5 (6 rides), Tommy Allen 3 (5 rides), Andrew Silver 0 (3 rides).

Lynn Barracudas were beaten 59-36 at Isle of Wight in Tuesday's National League fixture, Adam Allott top-scoring with 15 points. The 'Cudas are at home to Buxton tomorrow. 7.30pm, in another league clash.

Lynn Stars riders were each presented with £50 by the Mad Hatters supporters' group on Wednesday.
