LYNN Money Centre Stars co-promoter Jonathan Chapman says the club are eyeing top spot ahead of two away meetings in the space of as many days.
Tonight (Friday) the Stars travel to Scunthorpe, before finding themselves on the road at Stoke tomorrow (Saturday).

Victory in North Lincolnshire tonight could see the Stars go top of the table whereas a double win would definitely see them at the summit.

Their top-table rivals only have one meeting this weekend.

Chapman said: "We're on fire at the minute and we've only got eyes on finishing top of the table.

"We felt we'd put the right team together at the start of the season and now we're beginning to prove it."

Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said on last Friday's meeting, which was called off at the last minute due to a deluge: "It immediately stopped once the decision had been made but in fairness the damage had been done.

"It would have been difficult to say whether the track would be raceable.

"I'm just sorry for all the fans who travelled to watch what had the makings of a superb speedway meeting."
