THE Lynn Money Centre Stars travel to Birmingham tomorrow night before hosting the return fixture at the Norfolk Arena two days later.
Lynn have a good record against the Perry Barr men and team boss Rob Lyon knows a good result is vital if the Stars are to maintain their title challenge.

Lyon said: “We’ll be going to Birmingham looking for the win. It has been a happy hunting ground for us just recently and we like riding there.”

Ex-Stars rider Chris Mills will guest for injured Brummie Phil Morris, while the hosts will be able to use a guest replacement for Jason Lyon at the top of their order.

“The injuries will not have been good for Birmingham’s morale, but they will have a good choice of number ones to bring in for Jason Lyon and that might help them.

“At the end of the day it’s what we do on the track that matters, whoever is riding for them.”

l Kevin Doolan made a guest appearance for his former club Belle Vue at Eastbourne on Sunday, scoring 8 points.

The Aces were well-beaten 56-37 in the Elite League clash.

l A pleasant surprise for Lynn riders before the home fixture with Berwick last week – when the Mad Hatters Support Club handed them each £50 to help with equipment expenses.
