Triple bill at Norfolk Arena

BIG banger action returns to the Norfolk Arena tomorrow (6.30pm) when a superb full contact triple bill of action is on the bill.
It promises to be crashes all the way with the Unlimited Banger World of Shale and Pre 70, 2L Banger East Anglian Teams and 2L Stock Cars.

Over 40 Unlimited Bangers are expected to be in action with the Pre 70 cars having two races of their own be
fore joining the rest of the drivers for the World of Shale meeting.

Local drivers in action in the Unlimited Pre 70 include Britain's top lady driver Annette Nicholls (Norwich), who will be campaigning a Series 1 Jaguar XJ, Matty Kendrick and Garry Lown (Norwich), who will be racing a Rover P6 and Wolseley 6/110 respectively.

Following two Pre 70 Races, the classic car drivers will be joined by the regular Unlimited Bangers include Yarmouth father-and-son duo Shaun and Jonno Randall, Shane Winsor (Norwich), who is making his first appearance at Lynn for many years, Charlie Haller (Fakenham) who has a very smart Mk 1 Granny Coupe for the occasion, Polly Reade (Dereham) who is looking to support for Kerry Greyhounds Retirement home, Mark French (Dereham) and Andy Bailey (Swaffham).

Banger action also comes from the 2L Bangers, who are racing in their 2L Banger East Anglian Teams.

Around 50 2L Bangers are expected to be in action with several local drivers in the middle of some strong teams.

Former world champion Dean Mayes (Diss) has joined forces with Michael Allard (Yarmouth) among others to make up a very strong-looking outfit.

WMS Recruitment includes Garry Lown (Norwich) and Tom Reynolds (Lynn), while Team Flat Out are fielding two teams which include Graham, Terry, Jack and Ashley Garrod, Davey Cox (all Swaffham) and Karl Turnbull (Thetford).

The all-action 2L Stock Cars complete the evenings action with the entry including Craig Barnet (Dereham), David Aldous (Diss), Trevor Gray (Lynn) and Fred Powell (Dereham).
