Athletics: Entries build for Sport Relief mile at Lynnsport

THE Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile, in Lynn, is less than a week away.

This Sunday is set to be an unforgettable day with lots of West Norfolk people already signed up for the mile, which is being held at Lynnsport at 10am.

Simon McKenna, senior leisure manager said: "The Lynn Mile is set to be an amazing day.

"It's fantastic that so many people in the borough are gathering together to show their support for Sport Relief 2010.

"But we want this to be the best Sport Relief event yet, so we still need more people to raise their game, enter the Lynn Mile and join us to raise plenty of cash!"

Cabinet member for sport, arts and opens spaces, councillor

Elizabeth Nockolds commented: "This event has encouraged many people in

this borough to raise funds for charity, while at the same time doing something to keep themselves healthy.

"Interest in the event has been huge, so I would encourage others wishing to take part to get their entry in quickly."

You can choose your own distance challenge from one, three or six miles.

That means, from teeny tots with their mums and dads, to super sprinters up against the clock, there's something for everyone on the big day.

By getting sponsored to do the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile you're helping to make a big difference. The money you raise will be spent by Comic Relief to help transform lives here in the UK and across the

world's poorest countries.
