A RECORD-breaking 223 competitors took part in this season’s Smithdon Cluster Cross Country races held recently at Sandringham Royal Estate.

School team champions were as follows – Yr 2 Girls: Dersingham Infant. Yr 2 Boys: Glebe House.

Yr 3/4 Girls: St George’s. Yr 3/4 Boys: Ingoldisthorpe.

Yr 5/6 Girls: Heacham Junior. Yr 5/6 Boys: Glebe House.

Many thanks go to school staff and Smithdon sports leaders who ensured that the event ran so smoothly. Thanks are also extended to the Sandringham Estate for allowing the event to take place on their grounds.

Qualifiers will now progress to the SSP finals where they will represent the cluster.
