Sport - Cricket: Stolen spiker

A SAREL spiker has been stolen from the groundsman’s hut at Castle Rising Cricket Club.

The equipment is a red and silver heavy barrel roller with long spikes on it. It has a regular rolling barrel at the rear and is very heavy so would require two men to lift it.

If you have seen the spiker or have been offered one for sale, please contact PC Thompson at Lynn Police Station.

This is a specialist piece of equipment used in the preparation of cricket squares, tennis courts and bowling greens.

As a small self-financing village club, CRCC can ill afford such a loss.
