The RAF Regular & Reserve BMW squad were competing at their local circuit of Snetterton at the weekend, with Jake Dixon and Alastair Seeley contesting round five of the MCE British Superbike Championship.

And it proved to be a good meeting for the RAF Marham-based team with both scoring decent points over the two races, Dixon in particular excelling with a best finish of sixth.

Dixon proved to be the quicker in Saturday’s qualifying session, and a time of 1m49.499s on the Briggs Equipment-liveried BMW saw him line up for Sunday’s first 16-lap race in 14th place and on the fifth row of the grid with team-mate Seeley three rows further back in 23rd on the RAF Regular & Reserve BMW.
