Ladies President’s Day
IN glorious sunshine, lady president Beryl Hatton hosted her first Lady President’s Day since taking office.
Beryl organised her day with winners coming from two handicap divisions, choosing ‘the outdoors’ as her theme.
After the competition all of the ladies joined Beryl for lunch and the prize-giving, with lady captain Julie Proctor presenting Beryl with a bouquet from the ladies in thanks for a wonderful day.
Results: Division one: 1 Linda Holland, 2 Penny Murray, 3 Linda Wagstaff, 4 Heather Durrance.
Division Two: Claire Sutton, 2 Val Tufnell, 3 Elma Shedden, 4 Sheila Scragg.
Nine-holes competition: Winner Ann Bushby. Hidden Holes: Winners Ann Ewer and Ann Curtis.
