The defending Crown Fire Central & South Norfolk League champions, Castle Acre Swifts, completed a quick double over Shipdham and greatly improved their goal difference with a 12-1 win to move them to within six points of Division One leaders, Yaxham.

In Division Two, second placed Marham Wanderers were beaten 2-0 by Saham Toney.

Rockland Utd are back up to third after their 4-2 home win over Hethersett Athletic, having climbed above Sporle who lost 2-0 at Beetley Bees.

In Division Three, Castle Acre Swifts Res beat second placed Attleborough Town A 2-0 and move up to third place as a result.

Elsewhere, Feltwell Utd Res won 5-1 at home to North Elmham Res.

In the only match in Division 4, Scarning Utd. Res. beat Scole Utd. A 4-2.

In the Fen Regis Invitation Shield, Group A, Necton Reserves lost at home to Walsingham Utd by the odd goal in three.

Lynn Napier Reserves 1 Denver 2

Despite missing five of their first choice 11, Denver took another step towards survival with a well-deserved victory at fellow strugglers Lynn Napier Reserves.

The home side took the lead after 16 minutes but Denver went into the break 2-1 up, thanks to a fine individual goal from Matthew Wolfe who then set up James Emmerson to fire home from close range.
