Mid Norfolk Youth League

Under 13

Downham 1 Hungate Greens 6

Hungate Greens maintained their great start to the season with a great team effort resulting in a convincing away win over Downham in testing conditions.

Both sides delivered some of the best football witnessed this season, which included a first class penalty save from Greens keeper Alex Bishop.

All the goals were gems and came from Thomas Skuse, Travis Stapleton, and two each for Freddie Collison, and Kyle Campbell.

Dersingham Rovers 4 Woottons 2

Both sides and the match officials deserve a lot of credit for completing this match, which finished in torrential rain.

The home side were well below par during the match and it was no surprise that the visitors took the lead, however this woke Rovers up and at the break they had turned the game around to be 3-1 up with well-taken goals from Harry Knott, Will Woodhouse and Ben Welch.

The second half was slightly better with both sides scoring and Rovers held on to take all of the points.

Although Rovers still remain unbeaten, they must improve and get back into their passing game.

Geoffrey Collings & Co man of the match was Joe Denton who produced his best performance for Dersingham.
