The Pedlars Reserves lead the table on goal difference.

A deliberate handball on the line left the referee no choice but to dismiss the Costessey player. The converted penalty made it 5-0 before half-time.

Jamie Buhlemann scored a hat-trick, a brace for Billy Russell and Stephen Aspery, and the returning-to-fitness Dean Miller the remainder.

Rory Harper was also returning to match fitness.

The visitors got a consolation penalty in the dying minutes.

The Under 18’s went down 3-2 to in-form Fakenham Town. Swaffham’s goals came from Nick Castellan and Josh Murray.

Tomorrow Swaffham Res are away to Downham Town Reserves.

At the weekend the Swaffham first team are at home to March Town United, kick-off 3pm.

Both sides are battling for position at the top of the Thurlow Nunn First Division.
