The league programme was much curtailed because of an extension of new year celebrations by some clubs and a number of postponements for various reasons.

There were three matches in Division One with the match of the day undoubtedly being that between the defending league champions Castle Acre Swifts and the leaders Tacolneston.

Swifts came out on top with a 4-0 home win over Tacolneston.

Narborough beat North Elmham by the odd goal in three and, as a result, go back to the top of the table. The other match between Shipdham and Beetley Bees was an exciting end to end affair which ended as a 5-3 win for Shipdham.

There was only one match in Division Two – Wendling and Sporle shared the spoils from a 2-2 draw and Wendling move up one place to fourth.

The top two in Division Three met and Dereham Taverners preserved their 100 per cent record with a 4-0 home win over Watton Utd Res. Billingford won by the same score at Yaxham Res and move up to second place as a result.

Longham Utd are up to third after beating Colkirk by the odd goal in nine while Northwold ran up the highest score of the day, netting 10 without reply from Rampant Horse.

The Division Four leaders Bar 33 completed the double over Diss Greyhound with a 5-2 home win and stay just one point ahead of Rockland Utd Res, who were 6-1 home winners over Shipdham Res.

Scole Utd A move up to third place as a result of their 8-0 away win over Necton Res, and Scarning Utd Res are up to fourth after beating Narborough Reserves 5-3.
