Cup draws made for King’s Lynn Town, Swaffham Town and Fakenham Town

The draws for the early rounds of the FA Cup, FA Trophy and FA Vase have taken place this morning.

In the FA Cup, Swaffham Town travel to Holbeach United in Extra Preliminary round with the winners facing an away tie at either Kirkley and Pakefield or Walsham le Willows.

Fakenham Town will host Sleaford Town at the same stage with the winners of that clash entertaining Stamford in the Preliminary Round.

King’s Lynn Town are exempt until the first round proper.

In the FA Trophy, Lynn have been drawn away to Northern Premier League side Stourbridge in the First Qualifying Round which is to be played on Saturday, October 29.

The Glassboys finished sixth in the table last season.

Lynn’s last visit to the War Memorial ground in December 2014 ended in a 3-0 defeat.

In the FA Vase, Fakenham Town will welcome the winners of Yarmouth Town or Bourne Town tie to Clipbush Park on September 24 in the Second Qualifying Round.

Swaffham Town find themselves on the road in the Vase with a trip to Huntingdon Town.

In the FA Youth Cup, King’s Lynn Town have been drawn away to Cambridge City, the tie to be played week commencing September 5.

The successful club will entertain Dereham Town or Ely City in the next round.
