Denver booked their place in a League Cup final for a second successive year with a hard fought win in which all 14 squad members played a notable part.

Denver took the lead on 22 minutes when Andrew Carter notched his 11th goal of the season with a clinical finish after a defence-splitting pass from Marcus Cumberbatch.

Docking were back on level terms 16 minutes later and, despite good opportunities for both sides, the score remained at 1-1 through 90 minutes and the first period of extra-time.

But Denver secured the victory eight minutes into the second period when Danny Brooks slotted home coolly from the penalty spot after Matthew Wolfe had been fouled in the area.

Denver will play Ingoldisthorpe Reserves in the final at Fakenham on the evening of Tuesday April 22nd ( 7.30 kickoff).
