Denver moved to the top of the table on goal difference after convincingly completing the league double over Pentney.

Matthew Wolfe opened the scoring after four minutes and then was brought down for a penalty which Danny Brooks despatched for his seventh goal of the season. Centre-back Darren Thorpe made it 3-0 before half-time when he steered home a Brooks corner.

Wolfe scored two more after the break to take his season’s tally to 16 in 12 games and Pentney conceded two own goals before Thorpe got on the end of another corner to secure a scoreline that put Denver top by one goal ahead of South Creake.
