Pentney 1 Denver 4

Denver were far from their best against lowly opposition and will certainly need to improve for their vital clash with South Creake tomorrow.

The visitors held a flattering 2-0 lead at the break after Callum Cottey set up goals for Aidan Hood in the third minute and Matty Willis on the half-hour.

Jamie Plummer missed an opportunity to stretch the advantage from the penalty spot three minutes into the second half before a Ryan Cullen own goal brought Pentney back into the match.

But Denver finished strongly and Plummer made up for his earlier miss by setting up goals for substitutes Matthew Wolfe and Jake Dewing.

With Upwell out of action this weekend, the winners of Denver v South Creake will top the table.
