Fakenham Town travel to Felixstowe & Walton in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division tomorrow and boss Wayne Anderson told the Lynn News his side are looking to build on last weekend’s victory over FC Clacton.

However the Ghosts boss is expecting to make several changes to the side that took to the field last time out.

He said: “Saturday away to Felixstowe will be a difficult match as they are a good footballing side who like to get the ball down and play. They are in a good position so it is up to us to make sure we are at it and having not conceded against Clacton, we have got to be very tight again.

“Before the game against Clacton I said to the boys that getting three points on the table and not conceding would do us the world of good after four weeks off and just training indoors.

“There is still work to do after not having played for so long, so we will work hard in training again this week. We left Josh Youngs out too, he has been outstanding last season and this.

“With no Franksy, plus Stephen Harvey and Robbie Harris coming on as substitutes, there are four players who could be in the starting XI so that shows what sort of squad I’ve got now.”

In Division One, Swaffham Town have the opportunity to move up one place to third if they can better Debenham LC’s result. The Pedlars make the trip to Cornard United tomorrow, and with their hosts sitting second from bottom in the table Paul Hunt’s team will be confident of keeping the pressure on the sides above them.

Bob Warby is preparing his Downham Town side to make the trip to leaders Long Melford following a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Stowmarket Town last weekend.
