King’s Lynn Town Reserves 2

King’s Lynn Town Reserves won their first game in five with a gritty display at Team Bury on Saturday.

Goals from Ben Coe and Gino Livoti lifted the Reserves up to ninth in the table ahead of Saturday’s home game against Leiston Reserves.

Reserves boss Jonathan Hawes said: “It was a great battling performance against a strong Team Bury side.

“At 1-0 up, Team Bury threw the kitchen sink at us, but we had lads throwing their bodies in the way of everything to make sure we kept a clean sheet.

“Captain James Spittlehouse and Alan Burch at the back were outstanding for us.”
