Ash Jarvis struck a late leveller for the hosts in this six-goal thriller at Clipbush Park.
Jarvis netted with a 20-yard free-kick as the battling Ghosts came from 3-1 down to earn a point.
Wayne Anderson’s side took the lead through a close-range finish from Jarvis, but goals from Ben Sawyer, Dan Brown and Josh Pope saw Mildenhall take command.
Ghosts striker Kyle Plumb scored the rebound from a penalty save, before Jarvis’ dramatic equaliser earned Fakenham a crucial point.
Tomorrow, the Ghosts host Haverhill Rovers.
n Swaffham Town, who host Ipswich Wanderers at Shoemakers Lane tomorrow, held the same side to a 1-1 draw in the reverse game on Tuesday.
The Pedlars will then take on Newmarket Town on Monday night at Bury Town’s Ram Meadow.

On a difficult pitch, Haverhill Borough took the lead through Milne, who netted from close range.
Good forward play by Karl Tansley put Alex Cunan through to level the scores on 35 minutes.
Kieren Shipp was the pick of the bunch with another solid performance at right-back.
The reserves travel to promotion-chasers Halstead tomorrow.
Danny Setchell and Shipp have both been picked for the next Norfolk Under-18s squad in their next match.
