We have received a plea from Keith Daykin, who played for Frigo FC in the 1970’s.

He said: “In 1976 Frigo got to the semi-final of the Norfolk Sunday Intermediate cup and lost to the eventual winners Wymondham Sunday 4-3 (AET) at their ground. I was the goalkeeper on that day.

“The anniversary of the game is next February 8 and I am trying to contact old players, officials and supporters for a reunion some time to remember the old days.

“I have contacted some, but the lads from Lynn area is a bit more difficult as I live at Dereham. I would like to try and find some of them like Barry King, Les Read, Mally Daly, Micky Anderson and others whose names escape me after 40 years; also chief supporter Bob Brady.”
