The Linnets have signed Kegan Everington on loan from Lincoln City.

The club stated: “Manager Ian Culverhouse has swooped to make his first signing since his appointment last week: 21 year-old midfielder Kegan Everington has signed for the Linnets on loan from Lincoln City until the end of the season.

“Kegan has also been on loan at Buxton this season. He is expected to be in the Lynn squad for Saturday’s home clash with Stratford Town.”

Everington made his first team Imps debut on New Year’s Day 2014, as a substitute in a 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town and has made a total of 21 appearances (six starts), scoring once.

The midfielder has had loan spells with Lincoln United, Spalding United and this season with Buxton. Everington played against Lynn in November when Lynn knocked out the Bucks from the FA Trophy.

Everington was given his first contract by Lincoln in summer 2014, and his current contract expires at the end of June.
