Play-off hopefuls Hitchin Town visit The Walks tonight (7.45pm) as the Linnets look to bounce back from two successive defeats.

Mathematically Lynn are still in with a chance of the play-offs, but one point from their last three games has left them with a tough task.

Five points now separate the two six sides in the table with Lynn a further ten points behind Chippenham Town in tenth place.

The Canaries, who currently hold the final play-off berth, are unbeaten in five but have drawn their last three games.

Hitchin boss Mark Burke is expecting a difficult game in Norfolk.

Burke said: “This will be a difficult trip to a form team who have a good home record. I will looking to get a point and build on our unbeaten run.”

The Linnets suffered a 2-0 loss when the two sides met in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

On-loan striker John Sands is set to make his home debut for Lynn.

The Reserves ran out 4-1 winners against sixth placed Sudbury at The Walks.
