King’s Lynn Town Reserves manager Rob Back completed two new signings for the club last night in a busy day of transfer activity.

Attacking midfield player Alfa Jalo has signed from Wisbech Town, as has striker Karl Tansley from Downham Town.

A delighted Linnets Reserves boss Back said: “I am really pleased to bring both Alfa and Karl to the club.

“The great thing is that Karl is a King’s Lynn lad and was very keen to play for his home town club and he impressed me and Curly (assistant Marc Curson) in Friday’s game against Downham Town.

“Alfa was recomended to us by someone and looked very good in training last night, he scored for Wisbech last week in the friendly against March Town.

“Our under 18’s have been a real plus to the club since their formation and already some of the boys have tasted life with the reserves.

“Of course these are big steps for the boys but I firmly believe that if you are good enough you are old enough.”
