King’s Lynn Town Reserves have all but sealed a top five spot following Tuesday’s draw.

Lynn after 31 games are on 60 points, 11 ahead of sixth-place Leiston who have two games in hand.

Boss Robbie Back said: “Dylan Edge came close with a header in the first half, and Jack Frohawk should have scored in the second half.”

Lynn have no weekend league ficxture, while Downham Town go to seventh position Woodbridge Town.

Swaffham Town are now in the bottom three, five points above Fakenham Town, after the Pedlars suffered defeat on Wednesday evening away to third-spot Godmanchester Rovers.

Attendance: 93.

The Pedlars host Felixstowe & Walton, another team vying for position at the top.

Fakenham Town travel to fifth from bottom Ipswich Wanderers.

The Under 18’s were in action Thursday evening, a good win away to North Walsham Youth with one game remaining this season. An own goal, Aaron Smith, Luke Reed (2) and Ryan Reynolds (2) making up the 6-3 victory on a difficult playing surface.
