Thurlow Nunn League Cup

Mildenhall Town 4 King’s Lynn Town Reserves 1

A miserable Tuesday (Jan 5) evening for King’s Lynn Town Football Club was completed when the Reserves went down 4-1 to higher-league opposition in the Thurlow Nunn League Cup at Mildenhall Town.

In a similar fashion to the first team, the young Linnets were three down at half-time and rallied late to pull a goal back through Karl Tansley after David Cooper had made it 4-0 for the home side.

Lynn: Simpson, McLeish, Daw, Spittlehouse (Shipp), Bussens (Gibson), McQuaid, L. Fryatt, Tansley, Setchell, A. Clunan, Burgess.

Attendance: 101.

On Saturday (Jan 9) in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One, Lynn Reserves travel to Diss Town.

Downham Town in the First Division KO Cup have an away tie at Halstead Town.

In the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, Swaffham Town host Godmanchester Rovers and Fakenham Town travel to Whitton United.
