King’s Lynn Town Reserves are expecting a bumper crowd when they host Ely City at The Walks.

Joint boss Robbie Back has described tomorrow’s game as his side’s biggest match of the season with the Robins currently second in the table and Lynn third.

Three points would see Lynn leapfrog their visitors in the Thurlow Nunn Division One standings, and Back said: “It’s probably our biggest game of the season.

“They had another very good win over Christmas and they are a good side.

“It’s the start of three very big games in the space of ten days for us, which culminates with the Wroxham game in the Norfolk Senior Cup.”

As the youngsters continue to flourish, Back praised the contribution of Kevin White to the cause.

“Kevin has probably been our player of the season so far,” said Back.

“He might be 40 but he is perhaps the fittest player in the squad and has been a big help to the youngsters in the side.”

Back also sung the praises of recent arrival Alex Clunan - brother of first team player Michael - who has been among the goals recently.

“Alex has got a very good future ahead of him. I took him to Dersingham with me and he did well and now he’s doing the same here.”
