Almary Green Anglian Combination

Premier Division

St Andrews 2

Dersingham 1

Dersingham travelled to the unbeaten side knowing a tough game was ahead.

Dersingham created many chances in the first 25 minutes but found the keeper in fine form, especially after a Loui Gaughran cross was met by Scott English.

Against the run of play a long ball caught Rovers out, and a wild miskick trickled over the line. Rovers kept pressing and Gaughran equalised by half-time. The second half was very even but St Andrews got the winner with ten minutes to go.

Dersingham are at home tomorrow, 2.30 KO, against Blofield.

Division Four

Sprowston Res 1
Dersingham Res 3

The reserves’ great start continued, after deservedly going one down and not playing well in the first 30 minutes.

They then turned on the style. Brad Key and Jordan Jenner started to dominate the midfield, and the returning Goodbourn was a handful. Goodbourn set up two goals: for Cook to equalise, then moments later for A. Day to net on the stroke of half-time.

Dersingham hit the woodwork five times in the second half but eventually Day smashed in a volley after a cross from Cook.

MoM: A. Day for his work rate.
