King’s Lynn Town FC will face a stern test of their cup credentials when they travel to Nantwich Town in the FA Trophy tomorrow.
The Dabbers, who play in the Northern Premier League, have found the back of the net in every game they have played this season, other than the FA Cup defeat against Spalding in September.
In the last round, they accounted for FA Cup heroes Salford City 2-1 with Elliot Osborne and veteran frontman Steve Jones on target.
They are managed by former Nantwich favourite Phil Parkinson, who had spells with both Crewe Alexandra and Reading earlier in his career.
The winners of tomorrow’s Second Qualifying Round tie will receive £3, 250 and a place in Monday’s draw.
Defender Kern Miller is close to a return but Ryan Fryatt and Conor Marshall are still struggling with injuries.
Jordan Yong, Lee Stevenson and Liam Hurst are all expected to feature after missing Tuesday Night’s Red Insure Cup penalty defeat against Histon (see page 110 for report).
If a replay is needed it will take place at The Walks on Tuesday night (7.45pm), replacing the scheduled Southern League clash against Hitchin Town.
