King’s Lynn Town FC travel to in-form Witton Albion at Wincham Park tonight looking to score their first away league goal against their hosts having failed on four previous visits.

The Linnets picked up a creditable point at home to high-flying Ashton United at the weekend.

Linnets boss Gary Setchell said: “I’m happy that we got a point on Saturday but I’m still not pleased where we are in the league.

“It’s not job done for us by any means and I’m not getting carried away.

“We’ve got nine games left and we’ve got to accumulate as we can to stay in the division and then draw a line under it.”

Whilst Lynn’s away record this season might not look that good they can lay claim to being one of the more consistent away teams in terms of finding the net having only failed to score on one occasion.

That statistic came against Stourbridge and it’s a record better than any other team in the Premier Division.

Witton eased their relegation fears on Saturday with a 3-2 win at Frickley Athletic – a victory which extended their unbeaten run to six games.

The Linnets are sweating on the fitness of David Bell (thigh), Peter Winn (calf) and Ryan Fryatt (toe), with all three missing Lynn’s first point at home since the end of January.
