QUEEN ELIZABETH CUP SEMI-FINAL

CSKA Reserves progressed in a ding-dong twice delayed semi-final versus March Saracens.

Thrice CSKA led. Phil Franklin got the ball rolling with the first before Steven Johnson equalised. Sam Garrod nudged CSKA back in front before March again replied through James Hazel.

‘Mr. CSKA Reserves’ Joe Lee smashed home the winner from the penalty spot.

They will meet Sutton St. James in the final at Wisbech Town FC on Sunday, April 30, with a 1pm kick off.

DIVISION ONE

CSKA took advantage of England’s Hope’s call off to go back on top, with a 1-6 away win over recent form boys MacMillan.

Adam Key scored for the Green Army but the title contenders ran away with it with goals from Kai Ruff 2, Joe’s Reeds and Woods, Max Mattless and Scott Wylie.

CSKA sit two points clear of Hope with a game in hand.

DIVISION TWO

Sutton St. James hosted Three Holes and romped to a 4-0 victory.

Sutton found the net through Justin Bone and a Joe Harrison hat-trick.
