A fixture will take place at The Walks on Sunday, November 9 in memory of former Linnets midfielder Adie Hayes, who recently passed away.
The former Lynn and Fakenham Town player died at the tender age of 36 in the summer after losing his battle against a brain tumour.
Monies raised will to go towards a holiday of a lifetime for Adie’s wife and children, plus there will be a red bucket collection to raise money for brain tumour research.
Legends appearing include: ex-England and Fakenham player Luther Blissett; Lynn manager Gary Setchell; Fakenham manager Wayne Anderson; ex-Lynn players Cedric Anselin, Tony Spearing, Paul Raynor, Dave Robinson, Lee Stevenson, Simon Bush, Chuck Martini, Jamie Clark and Matty Wright; and English and European Light Heavyweight boxing champion Danny McIntosh.
The match is sponsored by King’s Lynn Town FC, Double G Clothing, KL.FM and Barnes Print (E.A.) Ltd.
The kick-off is 1.30pm and gates open at noon. Admission: adults £5, children under 14 £1. Fun fair, face painting, penalty shoot out and refreshments also available.
