Thurlow Nunn Division One Cup

Halstead 1 King’s Lynn

Town Reserves 0

There was cup disappointment for King’s Lynn Town Reserves who went down to Halstead in the last eight of the Thurlow Nunn Division One Cup.

A controversial goal in the 93rd minute decided the tie as the Essex outfit defeated Lynn for the second time this season.

Although the Reserves were forced to field a depleted side, their team did include first-team defender Henry Eze who was cup-tied for the visit of AFC Fylde.

The Reserves are next in action on Saturday when they host Sudbury Reserves in the league.

In the Norfolk Senior Cup, Lynn have been drawn away to Anglian Combination Premier Division club Caister.
