The Crown Fire Central & South Norfolk League programme was dominated by Round Four of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup, the league’s premier cup competition.

Five of the winners were from Division One with Castle Acre Swifts leading the way after their 9-0 demolition of Gressenhall.

Stoke Ferry were taken to extra time and penalties by Watton Utd Res but eventually claimed their place in the fifth round with a 4-2 win on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Among the Division Two teams in the last eight will be Narborough who received a walk-over after Saham Toney could not raise a team.

Division Two leaders Marham Wanderers increased their lead at the top to seven points after a 5-1 home win over Hingham Athletic Res, while Sporle move up to third after their 5-0 win at bottom team Rampant Horse.

In Division Four, second placed Dereham Taverners won 4-2 at home to Northwold S&SC to open up a gap of seven points over their opponents.

Scole United A had to survive a late come-back from Bar 33 before running out 5-3 winners, a result which lifts them to fourth in Division Three.
