Swift entry into last four for Acre

Castle Acre Swifts are the toast of the Crown Fire Central and South Norfolk League as they reached the semi-finals of the Norfolk Junior Cup.

Castle Acre Swifts beat Mundford 3-2 after extra time while Saham Toney lost 4-1 at Dereham Taverners in the all-league clash in the Primary Cup.

The Division Two leaders Marham Wanderers stretched the gap at the top to four points with a 6-0 home win over bottom team Rampant Horse.

The top two in Division Four were without league games.

Northwold S&SC remain third after a 6-1 home victory over Necton Res.

In Group A of the Crown Fire Invitation Cup, Stoke Ferry and Gressenhall took a point apiece from a goalless draw and both are still capable of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition.

In Group B, Sporle lost at home to Mulbarton Wanderers A 3-1.
