Denver completed their league campaign with a fifth clean sheet in six games and their tenth of the season.

Despite being far from their best, the hosts eased home through second half strikes from Matthew Wolfe, his 21st in 16 appearances, and Danny Brooks, whose penalty was his 10th goal of the season and Denver’s 80th in 20 league games.

Denver will be crowned champions if South Creake fail to win their remaining three games and could be aiming to complete the double when facing Creake in the League Cup final on April 27.

“We have to sit and wait for other results now,” said Denver manager Larry Halpin. “But whatever happens, the lads have had a superb season. We have won 16 and drawn two of 20 league games, and the only two losses were odd-goal defeats suffered in the last five minutes of both games.”
