DIVISION ONE

With CSKA and Englands Hope neck and neck for the title, CSKA took first blood with a 3-1 win over Hope, which in turn was Hope’s first league defeat of the season.

The win sees CSKA sit a point behind Hope but with two games in hand.

Michael Chow scored for Hope but Dave Abbott was again the matchwinner with a classy hat-trick.

Elm moved to within one point of Clenchwarton in the table by beating them 5-2 on Sunday. Addy Mason scored twice for Clenchwarton but goals from Dan Short, Jordan Jolly, Sam Moses and Kensey Carter 2 saw Elm continue their good recent form.

Old White Bell and Maltings met in Downham and shared four goals. Dan Murphy scored twice for Bell with Dylan Edge scoring twice for Maltings.

DIVISION TWO

CSKA Youngboys confirmed the league title with a 3-1 win over March Saracens!

Aaron Elmore scored for Saracens but Youngboys weren’t going to be denied their day and registered their 15th win in 15 league matches.

Youngboys shared the goals between George Chadwick, Matty Ryan and Tom Melton.

Shouldham kept themselves in the hunt for the second promotion spot with close 1-0 win over Three Holes with William Goldburn the hero.

William Burt also had the narrowest of 1-0 wins over Fleet with Oliver Freeman being the Burt man of the moment.
