Hunstanton Reserves 0 Denver 5

Matthew Wolfe scored four as Denver extended their unbeaten run to five games and took over as league leaders with a comfortable win at Hunstanton.

Keeper Nick Martin ensured Denver kept another clean sheet with a superb double save before Wolfe gave them a one goal advantage six minutes before the break.

Liam Oliver scored Denver’s second eight minutes after the break before Wolfe completed his hat-trick with two goals in a minute and then added the fifth three minutes from time.

Marham Wanderers 7 Springwood 2

Springwood went out of the Primary Cup to a very impressive Wanderers side.

Springwood started well against the higher league opposition and took a shock lead thanks to Sam Hewitt.

With the game still 1-0 Anthony Pegg made an unbelievable double save to keep Springwood ahead. Springwood’s defence held firm until Marham seized on a mistake to level and then hit two in quick succession.

Marham showed their class in the second half adding another four goals,

Ken Diggins added a late second for Springwood whose work ethic was superb.

Dersingham Reserves 8 Horsford Res 1

Dersingham Reserves started really well and were awarded a penalty after two minutes which Wood converted.

Sinclair scored, Wood got his second and a long range Burgess shot found the net.

Sinclair got his second, then came the goal of the game from Ben Oliver after a thunderbolt shot.

Wood then completed his hat-trick to send Rovers in at half-time 7-0 up.

Horsford pulled a goal back and Sinclair completed his hat-trick to push the Reserves up to third in the table.
