The Woottons 3

Dersingham 1

The home team wrapped up a win just in time for Christmas on Sunday.

The Woottons went behind early on to undefeated Dersingham but came in at half-time level at 1-1, with a cracking volley from Thomas Wagg delivered by Rio Culey.

A few tactical changes and team input made the home boys in blue ready for the second half.

The teams gave it their all with both keepers pulling off fantastic saves.

A penalty award for The Woottons saw Harry Carter convert and the final goal, again by Carter, coolly confirmed the win.

Man of the Match: The Woottons team.

Reffley 3

Dersingham Rovers 4

This match was played in difficult conditions between two very competitive teams.

The first half was a very tight affair, with Rovers hitting the woodwork twice before taking the lead. The hosts replied only for Rovers to take the lead again.

Full credit to Reffley who levelled by half-time.

Again Dersingham took the lead but could only hold onto it for a few minutes.

Rovers continued to battle and were rewarded with the winner. Dersingham scorers were Ben Welch (3) and Will Woodhouse.

Everyone in the Rovers side battled superbly with Woodhouse and Ollie Southgate shining.
