It’s been a busy time for the ladies section at Middleton Hall Golf Club, with a number of competitions being contested.
Golfing duo Jason Sarsby and Shaun Fisher emerged victorious from the The Bates Pairs Championship, held by the Searles leisure resort.
Ryston Park Ladies turned out for the annual Spring Foursomes competition. A draw for partners found the winning pair coming in with 39 points and runners-up with 36.
Mark Nixon (5 handicap) and Pam Saxby (19) kicked off the new season in style winning the Tom Reed Founders Cup at Ryston Park Golf Club in an 18-hole play-off.
Tiffany Mills of Ryston Park Golf Club finished fifth in the English Women’s Golf Association gold medal regional final on the old course at Gog Magog. The competition is for players who have had the four best medal cards at their club in 2012.
Lynn golf youngster Jack Yule had double cause for celebration this week.
