Busy time for Middleton ladies

It’s been a busy time for the ladies section at Middleton Hall Golf Club, with a number of competitions being contested.

Jason and Shaun make the perfect pair for success

Golfing duo Jason Sarsby and Shaun Fisher emerged victorious from the The Bates Pairs Championship, held by the Searles leisure resort.

Ryston Park Foursomes

Ryston Park Ladies turned out for the annual Spring Foursomes competition. A draw for partners found the winning pair coming in with 39 points and runners-up with 36.

Mark and Pam win play-off

Mark Nixon (5 handicap) and Pam Saxby (19) kicked off the new season in style winning the Tom Reed Founders Cup at Ryston Park Golf Club in an 18-hole play-off.

Tiffany reaches national final

Tiffany Mills of Ryston Park Golf Club finished fifth in the English Women’s Golf Association gold medal regional final on the old course at Gog Magog. The competition is for players who have had the four best medal cards at their club in 2012.

Lynn golf youngster Jack Yule had double cause for celebration this week.

The Lynn News’ chosen charity of Red Wellies will benefit from the proceeds of our inaugural charity golf day, to be held at Lynn Golf Club on Friday, June 21, for which sponsors and teams-of-four can now enter.
