The fourth Heacham Manor Golf Club dinner and presentation evening recently took place.
Guests were treated to a superb three-course meal in Heacham Manor’s Mulberry Restaurant, before prizes and trophies for the club winners were awarded.
Main winners on the evening consisted of Ian Bingley, who collected prizes in five medals and stablefords, as well as winning the Espley Ex Cup.
This competition awards points for top positions in 12 of the medal and stableford competitions throughout the season kindly donated by Leon Espley.
Club captain Espley won prizes in one medal, the Texas scramble and individual winner of his own captain’s day.
Junior Jordan Cribb picked up prizes for five different competitions. Father-and-son partnership Alex and John Elsden were awarded with the winner of Paris matchplay trophy.
The King brothers, Simon, Ben and Tim collected an array of prizes between them, including Texas scramble, men’s summer pairs matchplay and medal wins.
Tony Thacker picked up the all-important men’s club champion trophy.
In the ladies section, captain Terry Ashworth collected the ladies summer matchplay trophy.
Joan Gill picked up the Kent Trophy and she was also the winner of the ladies summer pairs matchplay, where she was partnered by Rachel Hodgkinson, who won more prizes than anyone else including, the ladies seniors championship and ladies club champion.
