Judo: Heacham win three golds
ON the weekend of November 16, 17 and 18, a club from Middleharnis, in Holland, came to spend a weekend in Heacham.
This is an annual event, during which the Derek Skipper memorial contest (Skipper was the founder of Heacham Judo Club) took place at Mundford.
Several of the HJC members took part, and the club won with the following: Gold – Shannon Tucker, Georgia Rudd and Bryony Rudd.
Silver – Joshua Howard, Harry Sands, Liam Howard, Caroline Dix, Tasha Leeds and Yasmin Leeds.
Bronze – Tom Lawrence, James Lyon, Annie Lawrence and Isabel Frammingham.
