King’s Lynn Stars skipper Rory Schlein’s fight to regain fitness is the subject of a major new film to be premiered later this month.
Speedway fans are warmly invited to be present at the first screening of ‘Addicted To Speed’ which will be shown at the Majestic Cinema in King’s Lynn on Wednesday, April 20.
The 1hr35min film was written, directed and edited by Max Hind from the Toofast Media Group, who were granted exclusive access to Schlein throughout his nine-month recovery from the career-threatening back injuries he suffered in Poland last May.
Schlein’s battle with both body and mind ahead of his comeback to racing is documented throughout the film, which will also be available as a seven-part on-line webisode series following the premiere.
Producers promise an emotional roller-coaster which also includes Schlein’s first time back on a bike since the crash, and his first race back at the Adrian Flux Arena.
Tickets for the feature-length premiere, which starts at 8pm on April 20 – the day before the Stars face Leicester in the Elite League – are available for just £5, with only 200 available, and can be purchased online from the following link:
