King’s Lynn Stars will look to get back to winning ways on home shale as they take on Wolverhampton at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday (June 2, 7.30).
The Roger Warnes Transport Stars are without a win in their last five Elite League outings but claimed an encouraging consolation point from Monmore Green on Monday.
They will now host the return fixture against the high-flying Wolves aiming to bag three more Elite League points to bolster their play-off ambitions.
Team manager Rob Lyon said: “We picked up an excellent point at Monmore Green, but we now have to look to win our home meeting against them.
“We want to turn the tables on them and get the three league points, and then slowly but surely we can creep back up the league table.”
The Stars will be without Kai Huckenbeck, with Simon Lambert stepping in to fill his place as Nikolaj Busk Jacobsen is still sidelined through injury.
Meanwhile, Carl Wilkinson is back after missing the trip to the West Midlands and Lewis Rose moves into the main body of the team after being declared fit to ride.
Wolves arrive with a patched-up side due to a number of fixture clashes. Jacob Thorssell and Mikkel Bech are both missing due to meetings on the continent, with rider replacement operating at No.2 and a guest for Bech to be confirmed.
They feature two former Stars are reserve, with Lewis Kerr (pictured) guesting for Kyle Howarth, who is riding for Premier League club Sheffield, and Ashley Morris preferred to Max Clegg.
The main meeting will also be followed by a Midland Development League clash between the King’s Lynn Lightning and Mildenhall Fen Tiger Cubs.
