King’s Lynn Young Stars will be looking to continue their encouraging start to the season when they host Buxton at the Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday (May 25, 7.30).

The Stebbings Car Superstore side have picked up nine points from their five league meetings so far including dominant home wins over Stoke and Mildenhall as well as a 48-42 win at Coventry last time out.

It’s the first of two meetings on successive nights at the venue with Elite League action on Thursday against Swindon.

The latest set of greensheet averages sees a number of changes to the riding order for Dale Allitt’s youngsters.

Josh Bailey (pictured) moves to the No.1 spot after an impressive start to the season while Ryan Kinsley will join him in the opening heat after a key spell at reserve sees him move to No.2.

Club captain Scott Campos drops to reserve for the meeting as the Young Stars target three more Travel Plus National League points.

Said Allitt: “It’s good to be at full strength, and from our point of view we need to get back to winning ways at home and get three points on the board to keep pushing for the play-offs.

“We’re there or thereabouts at the moment with a couple of home matches coming up, so we need to maximise those.

“You should never take anything for granted, and obviously we will look at Wednesday’s opposition very closely and prepare properly for the meeting.”
