King’s Lynn Young Stars rider Danny Phillips takes part in the British Under-21 Semi-Final on Tuesday, April 11 at Peterborough.
The top ten scorers will join Lynn’s Rob Lambert, Adam Ellis, Josh Bates, Liam Carr, Max Clegg and Dan Bewley in the British U21 Final.
Meanwhile, King’s Lynn can confirm a number of fixture changes arising mainly from the reduction of the SGB Premiership to eight clubs.
The Trucks ‘R’ Us Stars will now open their league campaign with a visit from top flight newcomers Somerset on Wednesday, April 5.
The meeting has been brought forward from the Rebels’ planned visit on June 7, and the Stars would like to thank Garry May and the rest of the Somerset promotion for their co-operation in ensuring they have a home fixture prior to Easter weekend in mid-April.
The Stars have reciprocated that co-operation by agreeing to visit Somerset for the return fixture on Friday April 28.
No.1 Chris Holder will be missing from that meeting due to the Slovenian Grand Prix, but the Stars were always aware that Holder would be absent from one of their trips to the Oaktree Arena this season, and they will have a guest facility.
The Stars now face Wolverhampton in the quarter-finals of the Knockout Cup and will visit Monmore Green in the first leg on Monday, June 5 before hosting the return at the Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday, June 14.
The Stars’ second trip to Swindon, initially scheduled for Thursday, August 24, has been brought forward by three days and will now take place on Monday, August 21.
