The King’s Lynn Stebbings Car Superstore Young Stars have been left with work to do tomorrow after slipping to a 51-39 defeat to Cradley in the first leg of the Knockout Cup semi-final at the Adrian Flux Arena last Wednesday night.

The Young Stars’ task was made tougher after Heat 7 when an crash involving Josh Bailey (knee) and Layne Cupitt (back) resulted in both being withdrawn from the meeting.

Lynn will travel to Cradley’s Perry Barr track needing to overhaul the Heathens and pull back the 12 point deficit if they are to make it into the final against Eastbourne.

Bailey is particularly struggling to regain fitness in time.

Dale Allitt’s side on Sunday were due to travel to Stoke for their penultimate National League fixture but it was postponed due to a waterlogged track.

n King’s Lynn Speedway’s ‘A Night with Niels & Friends’ on Friday, November 6 in the Champs Bar at the Adrian Flux Arena has now sold out.

Supporters who managed to get a ticket will get to see the Danish superstar like never before as he opens up about life with the Stars, the Grand Prix circuit and his successes in Europe.

Lynn number one rider Iversen will also be joined by a host of special guests. The evening will start at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6.45pm.
