The King’s Lynn Stebbings Car Superstore Young Stars continued their unbeaten home run with a 54-38 win over Rye House at the Adrian Flux Arena on Friday night.

Victory for Dale Allitt’s side moves the Young Stars up into the top half of the table, a position they targeted before the meeting.

Despite missing number one Jake Knight through injury, the Young Stars made a great start to the meeting and opened up a ten point lead after four races. Wins for Tom Stokes, Josh Bailey and Shane Hazelden put the home side in a good position early on, but their lead allowed the visiting Raiders to use the tactical ride in heat five.

Guest Matt Williamson took a double points win, but their advantage was reduced as Ryan Kinsley (pictured) and Hazelden finished second and third respectively. The second half of the meeting saw the Young Stars extend their lead to 16 points with three further heat advantages.

King’s Lynn Young Stars: Tom Stokes 14, Ryan Kinsley 12+1, Josh Bailey 11+3, Shane Hazelden 8+2, Scott Campos 7, Layne Cupitt 2, Jake Knight r/r.

Rye House Raiders: Matt Williamson 15, Kyle Hughes 8+1, George Hunter 7, Luke Priest 6, Alfie Bowtell 1+1, Sam Woods 1+1, Luke Chessell r/r.
